Swapping in a 440 and I need some spool V8 motor mounts, don't have the ability to take out the K member and do the DC conversion right now, so either I Frankenstein a couple spare mounts together with my welder... Or see if anyone has anything.

But ok, say you're just a masochist, and don't mind swapping to dead shocks, the front and rear tires to skinnies and slicks, swap the third member to a 4.xx, and heat up a bottle for a 200 shot of spray. Is that a possible way to make it into the 10's?
There is literally a shop a block away from where I used to live that does nothing but those conversions. Most of thier work is old Buicks and VWs for some reason. :realcrazy:

Do you have any measurements for both of these shifters? I'm actually seeing if I can make a proper bracket to fit the shorter shifter in. fixing the throw, the steep angle, and making it more within reach. I have a few different ideas on...
But 2.76 gears don't sound like they're gonna be too happy around town. Maybe I'll just throw in the odbox with them for laughs and make it a Feather-space-demon! :rofl:
Ha, I wish.... Where I live it's like $1,600 a year. My current setup seems to get around 22.5-23mpg hwy on a good day. I barely touch the pedal and I'm cruising at 70.
