holley 780 on a 440 h.p. engine idles great, runs fine at cruise but has a horrible bog/flat spot just off idle. i have tried adjusting the idle mixture, advancing/retarding the timing and opening the secondaries a tad bit. nothing helps. this is on a new rebuild kit. any ideas?

well it had been running fine. it was too low on gas to make it to town so i brought home 6 gallons in a gas can. dumped that in and now im having problems. this thing has always started just tapping the key once warmed up.

my old power wagon (440 holley 600) used to start just tapping the key after it was warmed up. last weekend was the first time ive put gas in since they forced this ethanol on us. now when its warmed up, shut it down and it wont start. put the pedal halfway to the floor and crank for 8-10...
