    Father-Son 1974 Duster Project

Both my 73 and 74 had the cardboard head liner. They were originally covered with a thin textured vinyl as near as I could tell, but most of it was peeling off both. They were both in pretty good shape other than the texturing peeling off so my wife covered it with some tacky glue and fabric. It...

    wiring harness

I am a fair hand at electrical wiring work, splicing, soldering etc. The car also has all aftermarket gauges, stereo and A/c. Let's throw the reproduction factory harness (can get it at Year One I presume?) into the equation as well......praises or horror stories with what anyone used.

    wiring harness

After a 3 year hiatus (both from the car, and to some extent, this site), I think I might have both the time and money to resume work on the project 73 Duster. Last I tinkered with it I was getting frustrated with the wiring. From gauges working one day and not the next, to all lights working...

    Looking for a new headliner

I have the same hard headliner in my car. The texture was peeling, but overall it was in good shape. I bought some contact fabric glue and material that matched my interior and fitted it to the hardboard. It turned out really well and cost me about $20 dollars in material.

What is the most common exhaust pipe diameter on enthusiasts cars?

I would say you are on target with the most commonly used being 2.5. That is the majority of what I've seen anyways

    74 Duster Headliner

I think I tucked mine under the seal as well, and I wasn't thrilled with the look of it. Of course on top of, or butted up to, didn't look much better. I don't recall, or didn't notice how it was in originally before I took it out.

    [SOLD] 73/74 Duster parts car

$1500 + you arrange pick up Feel free to let me know if this is too much as I am just guessing at a value here and the price is mostly due to the few things I know are good on the car. Those being the brand new rubber on the rally wheels and the brand new reupholstered seats. The car was...

    Graveyard carz

A thread about this show has come up before with all the same comments about the people on the show. There were also several regulars on this forum that have met them in person and had nothing but good things to say about them. Apparently the bs that goes on in the show is just for the...

    PCV and Valve Breather Question

As long as one side has the PCV and the other side has the breather, it will work fine...I have the same set up as you....PCV on the passenger side of the motor and connected to the carb. On the Drivers side I have a breather that replaces my oil fill cap like "inertia" stated

    Fibreglass Hood Help

AAR was/is right down the road from me. As far as I know, he is not in the autoparts game anymore, he does boats now. I know the shop is still open, and the building still has several boats out back but I haven't been there for about 6 months, so he may have added car stuff back to their "menu"
