  • I am interested in your 340/360 manifolds, I have a 72 scamp automatic on the column stroked 318 with power steering....will they fit ? Cost? Deposit required and how to pay, thanks, Chris. c.depute.210@gmail.com
Was reading your response to the question regarding how far in the hole pistons were in 68-69 318's.

I'm getting ready to put a set of 302's on my 69 318. Just wondering if you experienced any issues and if the performance was noticeable?

    Thanks for any feed back
I would like to see a pic of the manifolds you make for a valiant,Where i put a 273 in it.
Hi Gil. Msg w/you a while back about the 340 manifolds. Ready to order a pair if you're still doing/have them. I'm thinking the 70's 340/machined 360 set would work best for me as this is a 73 340 Duster. As long as I end up w/the 2 1/4 outlet. I'll also need a set of stub pipes. I'd prefer the dark grey finish if possible. The car is an automatic in case this will create a problem. You required a $200 deposit for a place in line which is fine. Please let me know if you're still doing this w/an address and the method of payment you prefer. Thanks for your time. Jeff
Hi Treblig, jbc426 here. I had an issue with my 200R4 falling out of lock-up once warm. Turns out this is not too uncommon of a problem, subsequently Sonnex makes a repair kit for it that uses a Teflon piston ring and a new plunger that is actuated by the TCC valve. Just thought you might be intereste in the info.

Aside from that, I am sure loving this 200R4 swap. best thing I ever did for the car.

Hi Gil. Just getting around to putting my new engine in my 67 Barracuda. I am in need of a 340 drivers side exhaust manifold. Do you have any left? If so, what is the cost? If you can give me a call that would be great. Ben 405-274-2582
Your manifold look great. Wondering if I magnums fit both sides, 69 Barracuda 4speed. I would like to go turbo in the future but in the mean time use manifold as designed
    Hello,

Do you have a right side exhaust manifold for a '72 dart swinger 318?
Hey, just wanted to say excellent post. Having bought a 68 dart with a 360 I know all about the header/best manifold threads on FABO. Seems every header has its issues whether fit or cost. I am going to dump the big starter for a mini and go with less restrictive exhaust manifolds when I find what I want. I will send you a pic of the passenger manifold, the driver ends with 895 I believe. Thanks again, hope to talk about a possible solution for my engine soon. My manifold dumps cant be bigger than 1-7/8 im guessing. angain thanks for the research. Jim Gullo cbrjim@msn.com
will take that 68 cuda plate bracket .shipping zip is 06447 .rsaun@sbcglobal.net or 203-984-3937 Rick
Is it normal for fmj inner bearings to have the race attatchrd to the inner wheel bearing and the race to slip over spindle instead of inner race being tight on the spindle with the bearing slipping onto the spindle
