  • I think it took me 5 years of staring and 2 summers of driving... i put the die grinder to work and fit the console around my Hurst pistol grip Quarter stick. I finished it off with the reproduction woodgrain decal from year one.
Well, it was a great summer driving the duster!More nasty 11's in front of the shop @ closing time.I put 3500 miles on it this summer. That's the most i have ever driven it After going to a few cruise ins near work, i noticed that i look @ my 73 too critically. It's not really a restored car, but up here in the rust belt the locals compliment me like crazy. I guess i'm not used to that.We took it across the county to my step sons group home twice. He made one of the staff come out to see it and was beaming!
I have been away from fabo for months...life is getting better though.i had the duster on the road this past summer for the first time in 11 years! felt great and fun to have it out.co workers of 6 years had never seen it.lots of burnouts in front of the office at closing time!
