    I have a set of promaxx big block heads, I got them bare with valves and used my own spring package, but everything checked out good, only complaint was some of the valve tips weren’t chamfered, but no big deal!

    the aluminum “light” flywheel is definitely a more harsh feel, I had a light weight billet flywheel and it was everything but smooth. My new 4 speed build will have a little heavier flywheel for street driving

    Not saying this is going to happen, but I put a 383 together with the Mopar performance steel shim gaskets, “ heads and block were NOT surfaced” used copper spray, re torqued after break in, and still had some water seepage, into cylinders and side of block.a good fresh deck and head surface...
