    Door window removal help

Hey RedFish , I am going to be removing/replacing my door skins for my 70' Dart . Just having read your response to rod7515, would you recommend just removing the glass and not the regulator in my situation ? I found out the hard way that glass doesn't like grinding sparks vey much . Thank you...

    67' 318 crank in a 69' 340

I appreciate everyone's time , thoughts and opinions !!! Correct me if I'm wrong but I think the KB167 piston is for a 318 bore , I will be using a 69' standard bore 340 so it looks like a KB243 piston will be needed and I'm certain the bob weight will be different than previously thought . I...

    67' 318 crank in a 69' 340

I may check around town to see if there is a shop that could weld up this crank . I automatically considered this crank junk because I have always thought that anything cast could not be welded but there may be a process where it could be repaired . I also wondered with the damage to the crank...

    67' 318 crank in a 69' 340

Ya , some people really need to just step away from the tools and let someone who has the necessary skills in their hands do the work for them ! This crank is now nothing but a boat anchor !!

    67' 318 crank in a 69' 340

So I checked out the crank this morning and it is a cast crank #3462387 which is late 72' -73' 340 . I did take some pictures but will try to upload them later . The crank flange looks as thou someone had a difficult time removing a flex plate or flywheel . They used a cutting torch ,cutting...

    67' 318 crank in a 69' 340

Thanks for your replys ! I did a little more searching last night and learned that the differance in compression between the low and high compression 340s was the compression height and not connecting rod length like I thought . If I get a chance to I will post a few pics today of the crank and...

    67' 318 crank in a 69' 340

Hey folks , I have a question and I would like to hear your thoughts on what I could do or should do . A few years back I bought a 69' 340 short block and buddy threw in a complete low mileage 67' 318 ( never been apart ) . I tucked the two engines under the shop bench as I was busy working on...

    Narrowing an 8 1/4"

Hey folks ! I'm looking to narrow my 8 1/4" diff by 1 1/2" . I've searched the FABO , Bigblockdart sites and the web in general to find out what the lengths are of the axle shafts for an 8 1/4" but wasn't able to find that information . I have read that the pinion shaft is offset by 1 3/8" to...
