Yep, got it together. Ran well. Developed blue smoke on downhill deceleration. Decided to build a 440. Sold the 340. Dropped a 440 in. Just now finalizing that.
Back up for sale!
I'm ready to drop the 440 in the Coronet so the 340 will be sold!
The 340 is out of a 1968 Dart GTS. I'm not sure why it was in my Coronet as I wasn't the one who put it in. (Yes the GTS registry has been contacted)

I contacted the GTS registry and they said it was a GTS motor. I had to pull the numbers while the engine was in the car so once I get it out I will double check.
So I’m selling my 340 that belongs in a 68 Dart GTS. Since it is homeless I'm thinking about dropping it into something that just needs an engine.
Anyone got any ideas? I don’t need a project as I already have one. Just something close to done I can drop it in, drive for a little then sell.
I'm finally building a 440 for the Coronet so the 340 will be sold! (or put into an A body and then sold!)

Funny. I’m going through the same question in my head. Except my 340 is in a Coronet and I’m debating between stroking my 340 or building a 440. I have already purchased a 440 block but haven’t made up my mind yet.
Well I was more going for internally balanced bs external. Also, if I’m going to spend money on balancing and turning then it might as well be a forged crank.
This is sort of what I was looking for I guess. $400-$500 roughly. I would spend $75 extra to get a forged crank assuming the cost for...
