'75 Dart Swinger Beater

How it was before the front clip change, decided to put a valiant front clip on it for now since I ran across a rust free 4dr valiant in a junkyard.

New front clip looks awesome! Good work! Are you going to use full quarters or skins to repair the rust?

Thanks! Im going to use at least a skin on the pass. side and patch in a 4dr quarter on the drivers, then just patch the top. Not wanting to spend too much on this one. I may end up buying a new 70 Dart bumper for my 72 and use the old one to fully convert this one into a 71 Scamp.

Not to many people doing the '74-'76 cars it seems...

I'm doing a '76 Scamp. I like the front clip change, I really want to put a '67-69 Valiant front end on mine...
 
I had a '74 Dart in 1993. I went to the Mopar Nats hoping to get some ideas for it. I don't remember seeing ANY in the show. Glad times have changed. People will gravitate to them as the "more desirable" years get harder to find.
 
Bought a quarter from Loosenutz so now the exterior rust can go away :cheers: Also had to try the bullitt rims I have been saving for my 72. They look good against the blue so I guess I'll need to find another set :-D

u should convert the back and put the 70-72 vent wing style doors on it.then it will pretty much be a 71 72 scamp .then find a 71 72 scamp vin number and clean title to the vin number.then swap then vins.then u will have a 71 72 scamp.

I actually have every thing to fully convert it to a 71 Scamp, maybe I'll do it before I paint it. I wouldnt switch VINs because the car is what it is.

A friend of mine is giving me the slant out of his duster, but here is the catch.... It has a 4bbl, headers, and dual exhaust!!!:cheers:
 
u should convert it before paint.if can find a 71 72 scamp thats junk and has clear title. u should switch vin numbers.i converted my 73 dart into a 71 dart.also i used a 71 dart vin number so nobody knows it was a 73 dart.
 
Well its been a coupe of years and I have been busy with school and helping everyone else get their project cars done, but mine have sat in the process. I am getting closer with having my 72 Dart finished hopefully in the next couple of months so the 75 Dart will have to go. I will swap back the front clips, fix the rest of the rust and paint her, then she will have to find a new owner. Also a neighbor stopped by and gave me the title to this and im running out of room.
