1965 Plymouth Barracuda

318 cubic inch engine, 3 speed automatic from 1974 Dart.. Transmission slips a little bit.. Still has clutch pedal from previous 3 on the tree setup.. had plans to put in a 4 speed but didn't get there.

body is in great shape.. small rust hole in passenger side floor and rear quarters behind wheelwells.. must see! Underside and all structural members are in great shape!

Front disc brake conversion using later model Chrysler parts.. new torsion bars, all new bushings and steering linkages.. Firm feel power steering box.. aftermarket upper control arms for added caster, better straight line feel. 15" steel wheels with new rubber..

2.52:1 rear axle, 8 1/4 also from 1974 Dart. It's a real highway cruiser with these gears!

Interior needs attention.. all trim is there with the car but needs painting. dash has fully functional aftermarket gauges but seats have tears and need to be redone.. Headliner is intact with 3 small holes in it. Was originally a Gold on Gold car.. most interior parts still gold.

This is a great drivable project car and is unique enough to get all kinds of looks! Would make a great hot rod! I've got about 10k into this project but need to get rid of it. Make me an offer!!

I've got a couple of pics i can email to interested parties for now.. i'm working on putting some pics up on this thread.

Sorry guys, took me a little while with the pics. These are crappy cell phone shots. better ones to come (my ex-girlfriend has my digital camera, so retrieval will be interesting)

The white paint shines a bit in a couple spots :) but overall is pretty beat. was a repaint from who knows how long ago. there's a small dent in the roof and some dings in the rear panel.

I really need to sell this car, so I'm dropping the price to $5000 or best offer. I hate to sell this car at all, but I need the money right now and will be happy to have this car go to someone with the funds to finish it. It really needs a standard transmission installed, in my opinion since the auto just isn't as fun. It's a very solid car that simply needs some finishing touches otherwise. It's drivable as is! Somebody make me an offer! :)
