Yeah, the "PRV" six.. P and R stand for Peugeot and Renault respectively, so that tells you something. Same engine that was in the DeLorean, parethetically. They had a problem (later corrected, I understand) with oil starvation in the top end. As you say, the ol' slant 4 was essentially unstoppable. I had an '84 Volvo DL that I junked (tranny trouble) with 285,000 on the engine, still as tight as ever.
