Out here in SoCal, the only place you see those small-diameter welded-chain steering wheels is on lowriders. It's been said the small diameter makes it easier to drive while handcuffed. LOL.
 
I don't know what it is, but I've always kinda liked those. LOL
 
I drove around for years with mine on...

Few tips though....

DONT paint it black for stealth and park outside in summer...it doesnt look cool trying to drive with ya hands in a mexican blanket because the steering wheel is hot enough to melt your fingers

DONT ever drive along and be tempted to put yur fingers through the links...I dont need to explain this in detail do I?? I learned...

i will never use this wheel it was 5 bucks maybe on the riding mower
or i could put on my 72 dart with some curbfeelers and look for some
bitches or hos just kidding homeboys lol
 
if your car is ever in the hot sun, you'd better have some oven mitts in your car. then what do you say to the cop when your wearing oven mitts driving?

but all in all, pretty metal. lol


will you make the Dart drag its bumper as well too?
 
Wait until the cheap chrome starts to peel. That won't feel too good when you make a corner and run razor blades through your fingers!

Ha! First thing I thought of, too.. When I bought my first Dart, I thought that hornring on the 3-spoke wheel was the coolest thing ever- until that February, driving around at night with no heater..

I'd probably make a shop clock out of it. In any case, if I saw that wheel at a yardsale for 5 bucks, I wouldn't have been able to resist it either.
