Another sign that I'm old, I guess- I've never heard that term.. we just call 'em "rollbacks"- the result of a rollback is a nice "J strip". And I did put in the transmission explosion disclaimer... It's best to practice this maneuver in a vehicle you don't care about, like a GM product that's less than 40 years old.
And yes- since the largest engine I've ever owned is the 300 I6 in my F150 (also the heaviest vehicle I've ever owned), I've gotten quite adept at taking out my aggression while making left turns..
