I bet you could get the repro to fit by trimming off the flange on the right side of his picture. I;m fairly sure the center flange is the one that retains the strip to the gasket, and the other one is for cosmetics.
Nope. Both flanges are needed to secure the lockstrip. The YearOne part shown in my pic fits the correct convertible w/s gasket just as it comes. The generic, off-the-roll crap thats sold on EBay and such does not fit the convertible w/s gasket.
