Engine Compartment Color

Help.. I am trying to find out (before I paint) where the body color ends and black starts in the Dart engine compartment. The area that seems to be a problem is towards the front where the radiator mounts and the hood latch supports are located.

I looked at several today at a Good Guys show and seems like they were all different. I am trying to find out where to spray body color and where not to. Any help Would be appreciated. THANKS

If you are talking about the radiator support blackout, the whole car was painted body color first.

The cars you saw varied because the cars were not masked for the blackout. No two will be exactly allike.

If your cars still has it just try to match what you see.

thanks for getting back to me. I really can't look at what I have because it has all been stripped and is now in primer..sigh.
