273 fan clutch

Can you add a thermal clutch to a stock 6 blade fan on a 273?

I added the thermal clutch on my 66 Cuda. Works great, even with the 2 piece metal shroud!!!

The clutch won't work with the stock fan. You need a fan designed to bolt to the clutch. There are universal ones available or you could find one in a salvage yard. Just make sure the diameter & direction of rotation are correct for the car. You also need to use a short clutch on the early A body cars because there isn't as much clearance between the engine & radiator as the later cars.
