As with all wars, the rich drug the poor man to slaughter to fight for their cause.. Do you know how many poor people had slaves in the south?? I'm guessing "0".... If the truth be known, it probably wasnt about freeing any slaves, it was probably just to keep the south from out producing the north with cheap labor.. Theres always more to the facts than meet the eye...
