just bought the same car in super mint clean condition for my son .

Hope to learn all that I have forgotten about the car over the years . This one is cleaner than the one I had back n 74 , unrel straight , no bondo , crazy clean .
Also have a body of a 340 70 swinger , no wiring no interior , just all suspension , diff , brakes and glass , frame no front fenders , no motor or trans , was an orig 340 4 speed .

Thanks guys , great site you got . Hope there are meetings where we all can meet with our cars .
My son is really happy with the car , just want to upgrade a few things to make it reliable as possible for him , as of now it is completely factory stock show car . So will be pestering you guys BIG TIME for info on what to do , best learn by others trials and errors , to bad I forgot most of my errors on my Dart .
Hope to be around for a long time here , been waiting years to find my dream car so hope I don't drive you nuts .

That's a nice Swinger you have there. Sounds like you need to piece together that other one and save it too. It can be done...
 
The other one has great frame body , suspension and diff , but no front fenders or interior or wiring . A bit much for me at this time in life , but for someone with time and skills , yes . all body panels are in great shape , floors very good no holes . Front and rear glass are mint , but no doors . I is a 1970 4 speed 340 swinger by it's vin .
Not sure what to do with it , besides having a parts mobile for the mint 340 . That or maybe sell a few parts off it to those in need , not sure .
 
WELCOME!! Great looking car, I am in the midst of turning my 70 into a 340 clone.
 
Well that's great , had a 72 dart back in the day as well , turned it into a clone with 727 sway bar and 83/4 diff . Think the only diff between them is no boxed frame where springs mount , and for some reason the 70 series tires rubbed on the rear inner fender . Are the 340 swingers built with wider wheel wells ? Always drove me nuts as my 70 wheels tires would rub on the 72 .

He is 16 , getting his drivers permit in 3 months . For now he has me drive him everywhere in the car . He wanted this and I was glad to get it . When I was 16 I was supposed to get my mothers 69 gts convertible , but my cousin , 2 years older than me was desperate for a car so they sold it to him instead of storing it for me . He crashed it , total write off . So my son ha had dart stories for years , had to get him the car .
