clutch info for 9.5"

To upgrade the clutch to 10.5 you need to change the bellhousing along with the flywheel. This may require a modification to the engine side bracket for the bell crank. That's what I did back in 1982 in the 66 Barracuda that lilcuda has now. The clutch lasted, but my fab skills were not that good back then and I had a lot of linkage related problems. I don't know what's available out there as an upgrade with your current hardware.

Bear in mind also that there is a lot of flex in the early a-body manual trans cars. Starting with the poor arrangement of the frame side bracket only being bolted to the inner fenderwell. I also used to watch the dash flex out when I pushed in the clutch pedal on that old 66. This was all compounded by the bad angles of things when I got done installing the bigger clutch. But, the clutch lasted a long time.
