Rare 1967 Mr. Norm's 383 4 speed dart

I agree, I can't see there being 229 Mr Norm 67 383 4spd's. He build the first BB Dart, before Chrysler built any but I can't see where he built or modified the same number as Chrysler built in 67. That means that the only 67 BB 4spd Darts around would be Mr Norm cars.

This may not be 100% accurate, but the way I understand how the BB A-Bodies came about is Mr Norm asked for a BB Dart but was told they couldn't do it so he built one and took it to some executives and Chrysler and showed them, and supposedly they told the engineers to look at what the boys in Chicago built and if they can do it so can we.

Kind a late to the thread, but a question. I have heard the Mr Norm description of the big block dart. But, Mother Mopar was doing the BB Barracuda from the beginning. Dart and Barracuda are the same under the hood. So wouldn't it be easy for Mr Norm to get the BB parts from Mopar or a junk yard by that time and put one together just like Mother would have? Mother could have done it from the beginning but I think it was a policy decision. Ideas?
