They wont have it for much longer, Steven is going to judge American idol and Steve Perry is pissed.

So I heard. No matter I got to see them before they packed it in and before they came on stage in wheelchairs.:-D Now,if only the Scorpions would make a stop before they pack it in.

Friends of mine went to see the Scorpions this year in T.O......wished I hadda went.

I just saw Rob Halferd, what a let down, Didnt play a single Judist Priest song.

If Steven was kissing on Joe, maybe you should've posted Dude Looks Like a Lady instead. :=D I've seen them twice but not recently. Great to know they can still put on a helluva show.

You know who really still has it? RUSH. They are still freaking perfect in spite of how complex and difficult much of their music is. If anything, they are even better now than they were 30 years ago. There are still some shows left on the tour. Do yourself a favor and catch one if you can. If not, buy the "Snakes and Arrows" live DVD and see what is probably the best live video ever recorded. Excellent show, perfect musicianship, and three guys just having a ball playing.

Honestly, after watching these guys live in NYC, I'll say they were the absoulte worst show I have ever seen and will never loose money to these clowns again.

I'd rather throw away my hard earned money out the window at 70 MPH in some desert.

Aerosmith is just a shell of what they use to be,being from the local area i saw them back when they were just starting out,and in 1978 at the Music Hall here in Boston,ma.. they were WAYYYYYYY better and wrote much better music when they were on drugs...:-D:-D

Ozzy Osbourne is coming to Ottawa on November 25. His opening act will be Rob Halford. I was hoping to hear some Priest songs. Oh well. I'll still go.

Didn't Perry just hip-check Tyler off the stage somewhere? They were pretty good when I saw them a few years ago, but not in my top 10 I wouldn't say.

One of the bands to see on my bucket list. That's the list of bands I want to see before THEY kick the bucket. :toothy10:

Exactely my point, their BEST stuff was put out in the late '70's early 80's..i mean come on they've been reduced to singing love songs...i was offered tickets 2 weeks ago and turned them down, would rather remember them in their glory days of rock...

I saw Aerosmith in the mid-90's and then again in 2004 with Motley Crue. BIG difference in those 10 yrs.... I can only imagine how good they used to be. And as for Rush, I just saw them a few weeks ago out here on Long Island. Wow..... although it was only my 18th. time seeing them, they still kicked ***.

BTW: Was Tom Hamilton with them? Last time I saw Aerosmith he was very sick and they had a session guy filling in for him.

In a radio talk show Tyler stated they made more money off that Dont Want To Miss A Thing song than anything the had ever written themselves. Being part of a major motion picture was a factor in that songs profit though. Anyway... dollars are good reasons to sing love songs.
I suppose Walk This Way and the story behind how that song was written will be the bands niche in rock-n-rock history.
