I ordered a set of AMD quarters for my dart swinger today i will post some pictures as i go and let you know how they fit . I should have them friday so i will tear into it over the weekend .

they are supposed to fit like nos.
AMD put a lot of time into the molds.
good luck.

I bought a lower quarter for my swinger yet to be put on and yet to be taken out of the box

i have heard that they are light years better then say a goodmark. but they still need a bunch of work... really curious to see how these work out..

I'm eager to see how this works out. Mine will probably need full quarters by the time I'm in a position to do the tin work.

I'd take it out of the box just to verify.....all I have heard has been good about amd, but just to make sure it didnt get bootf***d off the delivery truck

good idea too bad I have had it for like 6 moths allready :toothy10:

This is what mine looks like with the AMD I was real happy with how it fit.
Jim  It was pack a box in a box

i got NOS full quarters for my 70 swinger - original red primer ones :) Curious though when everyone does the spot welds, do you use wire feed welder and just grind them smooth?

mine cost 450 .00 each plus 100.oo shiping from a place in louisville Ky .
i haqve been waiting for a long time to get full quarters i put some skins on a while back and they fit good but the metal was so thin it flexes like crazy so when i found out about amd i just had to get some .
i am impatiently waiting for them to come in so i can get started .

i punch holes and plug weld with a wire feed if you have everything wright it looks like a spot weld just touch it with 80 grit on a die grinder and its ready to prime

I just installed both full quarters on my 72 Dart swinger from AMD they fit great and I am very happy with them, Theywere packaged very good like someone else said a box in a box and bubble wrap

I put both quarter on my demon From AMD and they fit great. Coundn't be happier. The packaging was great. I will use them again. I used a mig welder. I turned it up higher. At first I had trouble getting the two panels to weld together, I had problems burning into the panel below. Turning it up made all the difference in the world. Just hit them with a flapper wheel on a 4 1/2" grinder

Got my quarters in today wow these are nice if they fit as good as they look it will be awsome . I will start working on the the swinger tomorrow after work. i will take pictures as i go . If there any ideas of what you want to see let me know and i will try to get them .thanks
Jeffro

I zip screw the quarter before I welded it and after I got it welded I took the screws out and welded the holes in.
