Also talked to a buddy of mine who said if you show DMV that is was inside and off the road , they would erase the fines and overdue registration , now that would be COOL !!
They used to do that here in Alabama. They'd let you sign an afidavite (sp?) swearing that it had not been driven, then they would check for tickets. If there were no tickets during that time, no fee. The put a stop to that kindness here about 5 years ago. I had to buy 10 tags for a '74 f-100, LOL, they were $9 apeice!!
