Sending unit ground strap, and fuel filler question??

You could make a ground strap with a piece of wire and a couple of small screw-type hose clamps. The body of the sender needs some kind of good ground for the gauge to work.

I did this method and it worked fine.

i dont have a mat in mine either but plan to put one in when i have the car painted
