the things we do for love

GH i'm a millwright by trade, at least, that is how i make a living. paycheck and all that. i've been doing the fixer upper thing for a lifetime too. it is more of a full time hobby though. i usually get about 6 or 7 hours a day in my shop, then i go to the steady job for 8 hours on second shift. i'm really just playing around though. if i ever have to get serious about the resto thing i will probably not like it. very few people understand what it takes to do this stuff. let alone pay for it. so, i just knock around at it for my own enjoyment.

I know what you mean, a lot times I'm working on mine I think to myself "how do people afford to have a car built" by someone else... A lot of people that don't fab and do their own work would never understand the time involved...
