I DROVE MY DUSTER TO WORK YESTURDAY AND ON THE WAY THERE AND HOME A VERRY AGGRIVATING THING HAPPEND... FIRST IN THE MORNING WENT TO THE GAS STATION TO GAS UP AND GET SOME COFFE I WAS FILLING UP AND THIS GUY WALKS UP TO ME AND SAYS HE MAN SICK NOVA!...WOW AND ON THE WAY HOME SITTING AT STOP LIGHT SOME GUY PULLS OF TO THE RIGHT OF ME AND THE PASSANGER ROLLS DOWN HIS WINDOW AND SAYS HEY MAN THATS A BAD *** NOVA!!...IRRITATION TO SAY THE LEAST LOL I THINK I NEED A STICKER THAT SAYS NOT A NOVA FOR MY WINDOW HAHA ANY WAY JUST WANTED TO VENT:thebirdm:

My '68 Barracuda has been called a Firebird and a Camero. When someone says ' Nice Nova' just say 'Where?'

that person must not know there cars haha a camerao?? really..i dunno though its irritating but im sure its just somebody who likes the thought of muscle cars but doesnt know any thing about them..but a compliment is a compliment i guess still thinking a "not a nova" sticker would be kinda cool though

I Get that all the time with my Aspen, The tech guy at a track I traveled to said " nice Chevy II " . My 64 Chrysler 300 has been call a T-Bird a few times also.

The other thing I get when I open my Hood, and someone looks at the motor 9 out of 10 times they'll say "340"?? like thats the only enginethat could be in a duster....

I've had 5 different people ask me what year my mudstain is, it's a 74 scamp, I just tell them I don't own a mudstain, that it's a scamp. I did put a rapid transit sticker on the back glass, for those who can't see the PLYMOUTH between the tail lights.

recognizing a car and brand is what seperates car guys for the rest of them. I have a 65 cuda and constantly hear "wow what year mustang is that"......Do not be insulted or angry, just smile and tell them what it is and remember they are the one's making an *** out of themselves. Dusters and novas do not even look alike!!!!!! Dust the fools off and know that they are fools trying to be cool!

haha yeah that happens all the time atleast nobody has said " hey why did you put that mopar engine in your nova?" then i would come unglued

The sticker should read... not a nova, or chevelle, or mach 1. I've heard all three with the sons Duster. We don't have any badges on it currently so there are no clues for the uninitiated.

Even with the Demon stickers on it I get that Nova crap. I told the last guy that I had to put a Dodge engine, tranny and rear end in it cuss I kept blowing up the Chevy ****.8)

I had a guy say "nive nova" when he saw my 70 Dart. A Duster does look a little like a nova, not much but a little. A Dart don't look any thing like a nova. I have also hered "nice superbee"

the volare/aspens deff do look like a 74 up nova. Dusters do kinda look like a novas but hey MOPAR OR NO CAR screw bowties

Nothing wrong with a bowtie...

I've had my Dart called a Nova, Super Bee, Duster, 76 dart...

Ps: I own a 69 Nova:-D

When my buddy and I were still in highschool, A girl gave a thumb's up to my bud's 73' Dart and said "Nice Mustang!"

Haha, you guys just have to laugh... :D

Well at least they are saying it's cool. People see the fender emblems on mine and usually go "Oh Sh*t a Barracuda!" "Then when their eyes finally get to the big bubble window in the rear they scowl with an "Oh it's one of THOSE ewww!"

C'mon take it on the chin....Mudstains, Novers....Mopars...muscle cars are all cool..... get angry when they call it "a piece of ****" from the passenger seat of a shrine circus decorated rice burning buzz box with a blue bottle in the back window.... THEN you have something to twist your pantys up...... as long as its "COOL" you are good! younger folks, geekozoids and sheltered types likely would not know a Super B from a Packard..... COOL is COOL all good!!

Good thought. At least it was a positive comment and they did take the time to say it.

At our recent downtown show, I was walking through with my wife. Sitting there with the owner and his wife behind it was a 69 396 Nova. I walked around as usual checking it out, stuck my head in the open window, turned to my wife and said "This Duster is gorgeous! I used to have the exact same one years ago, except it had a 440 and was yellow."
