Aftermarket slant six head

There have been many discussions, about an "aftermarket" head over at dot org. Two things seem to derail doing it.
(1) A consensis of what is wanted in the head. The "racers" want certain things, and the "street guys" want something different.
(2)price. This is a small market, and it is not cheap to bring something like this to market. Racers are willing to pay more, then "streeters", but there are still limits.
Remember, most (not all), slanters are "frugal". You can get a factory cast head to work pretty good for $500-$1,000 for a street motor. A "full boggie" race preped head will set you back, in the neighborhood of $1,500-$2,000. I'm of the opinion, that it is not possible to bring to market a "aftermarket" head, anywhere close to these prices. So the head would have to be enough better to justify the higher price.

I hope you can do this, but I will not hold my breath.

PS: How about a combustion chamber design that allows swirl and quench, 4 valves per cyl, cross flow?
