Run the 904.
Are you mechanically inclined. The 904 is easy to rebuild with some basic tools, good kit ~$100 and a service guide ($45).
I have a Hughes 10" 3500 that seems to work pretty well.
Personally I wouldn't buy a rebuilt trans or convertor from TCI or B&M.
