New Sm Block Milodon stock height, hi capacity, street, pro touring, road race pan!!!

Hey Steve, That is great news! Thanks for your efforts in getting Milodon to build this thing. It looks to be everything a road racer would need for an oil pan!

I have a question about a different oil pan that I currently have on my 408,
what do you think of this pan for road racing duty? Take note, I do not have the factory K-frame, but the AlterKation.

Nothing against Moroso, but it's a drag pan. That's it's intended purpose. It says so in the description. It also sits 1" lower (8.25") than the factory pan compared to the new Milodon Road Race pan (little under 7.25"). And because it's rear sump behind the wheels that might be a bigger issue. Does it sit lower than your headers?

That Moroso has only two trap doors just for only acceleration. It has one bent horizontal baffle across it. The Milodon Road race creates 6 baffled compartments with 3 gate for deceleration and 2 just for side load G's. The rear false wall, baffled/walls on the sump floor, and shelf hold oil in acceleration. Your car isn't set up to do wheelstands and trans brake launches?? So the deceleration gates are more important on a road race pan.
