I'm going to start my 76 swinger this winter. its a non air car, but i want air in it. I have a 73 dart with 68,000 miles that is complete with air. I need advice as to what I should do. Swap everything over from the 73 to the 76, put in a aftermarket system, or something else thanks

I would update the pump and brackets off a newer 86 dodge. Smooth idle and way better economy. You'll have to adapt the hoses to compressor though.

If you can wait till I get my new Demon air car I'll take pictures and show you what to do.What refrigerant are you going to use? R-12,R134a or 12a substitute (propane)

Im very interested in seeing this done as I have all the hardstuff for the inside of the car. But no other A/C parts. I wanna use R-134 though as its pretty easy to get a hold of

that would be great. i'm just collecting parts right now, so i'm in no big hurrry

I did it on my 440 and it works awesome. Doesn't change the idle prm as much as the old one, way less load

You will have to cut holes in the firewall for the A/C lines but it will work.
