gas pump auto click off / overflow question

I have the same issue. I just make sure the little lock thing is on the stop that lets the least amount of fuel go through. Then I put my head down but the filler and listen to make sure its not filling to quickly. I'm sure i look like an idiot when I fill my car up but I don't have gas running down the side of my car.

I do the same thing. If you listen you can here the change in sound when the gas starts backing up in to the filler tube. If I don't she spits gas out at me every time. I do get people looking at me like I am a little off but it works.
