True, they don't have the complete vin number, but it does have the sequence number on it which of course is the last 6 digits of the vin.

Have 2 complete buildsheets for my 65 & it definitely has no VIN or any portion of the VIN on it. Might be true for other years but not 65, at least not on mine.
