I don't think that's true in '65. The sequence number is different than the VIN sequential number. I believe the sequence number on a '65 build sheet indicates a location on the assembly line. I have several '65 build sheets and they are anywhere from 4 to 6 digits long....some with letters in them. Does your '65 VIN match your sequence number?
