Nice setup, looks great.
I am building the same basic motor. I hav'nt looked very far into your pictures yet,
but what heads are you useing? I am setting mine up in a caged 69 Dart 4 speed.
Pump gas, looking for the same range of power.

Ouch! That sucks. My dad had that happen on his motor. Valve stuck right in to the port too. We had to cut that sucker out of there.

I worked out a trade with Promax in Indy
and traded almost all the broken stuff for some upgrades on the new motor.

All the dyno runs was done 93 octane pump gas

You know I never realy thought about that.I would think the deciding factor would be intake maniflod.I know the mild porting was good for about 15 HP but that is from a fairly free flowing head to start with
