Post your 10 second combo

Here is my motor setup. 1970 340 block 2 bolt main, Block rock filled on lower half of block, 20 over bore, J & E flat top pistons, Total seal gap less top ring rings, Eagle H beam stock length rods. I used the 3.79 stroker forged steel crank from Mopar. To get the compression up we installed the pistons 18 thousands out of the block. Because of this we had to machine a bevel on the top edges of the pistons for head clearance. The heads are a fully ported set of W-2's with ductle iron rockers. These heads are the ones that the rocker shaft towers are machined off and have blocks on the shafts to bolt down. I used W-2/W5 2" diam. Hedman fenderwell headers. The cam is a Mopar 1/2 mile oval track cam. The 304/304/571 lift flat tappet cam. Installed at 106 center line. It has a ported with the head Holley strip dominator manifold with a HP 950 holley mounted on it. Only changes out of the box to the carb was I put in 2.5 power valves and jetted carb up to run VP113 race fuel. Near as I can remember I have 89 jets in the rear and 85 jets in the front.
This all goes to a Turbo Action 4200 9" convertor that was sent back and tightened up a little because the motor made enough torque that it would flash through the convertor off the line and slip down track. It now flashes about 5500 off the line when I leave at 4200 on the trans brake. I used a 4 planitary gear 727 with Turbo Action trans brake and bolt in sprag. This then hooks to a narrowed Dana 60 with 4.88 gears, Moser axles and spool and 11.5x29.5 W Pheonix slicks.
With this set up I launch the 3500 lb car at 4200 off the line and shift at 5800 and go throught the traps at 6500. Best ET with this set up has been 10.82 at 124.00. Remember this car weighs 3500 lb with me in it.
I hope all this helps you. I hope I didn't leave any important things out.
