Heys Guys

Can someone decode these numbers for me. I get the feeling the fender tag is not correct to the car so maybe the whole front end was changed on it and I could not find a build sheet?? Not that it matters I am building it the way I want so just more for curiosty sake, thanks.

VIN
BH23F8B204533

rad saddle
B8BI99352

vender tag from top to bottom
64 7 1
8 11 16
50 8 1 H6X FF1 B 1
BH23 41 5 27 B15 199352

Whats it supposed to be?? From the top vin its a 68 cuda?? But the bottom vin on the fender tag should be the same. Something on the tag dont look right

Need the letters that the numbers are under on the fender tag to decode it.

On 68 the vin last 6 are not on the fender tag. But the numbers on the core support should match the 6 on the vin tag.Which they do.

Car is a 68 Barracuda notch back. But seems like some stuff has been changed on it so I am just trying to decode for curiosty. I am not selling it so just building the way I want to make a nice cruiser.

Thanks

under AX is 1 and under 23 is 50

Very interesting. I will have to see if i can find the number on the trunk lip. I am wondering now if the dash was replaced and previous owner used the VIN that was in that dash?? I just restored the engine bay and plugged all the extra holes that were for AC but man they were crude so I thought they were added after the fact????

Thanks again

AX= 2.76 Rear Axle Ratio
25= Drip Rail Mouldings
30= Body Belt Mouldings

sounds like a really nice Barracuda !

I never could figure out those Tetris-like '68 and earlier fender tags ...
