Lakewook vs. Quiktime bellhousings

We had a lakewood in a 65 A and the thing had about 10 mounting holes around the edge that we didnt use, did they use to make them dual pattern or something? Hung kinda low too. It was a while ago and I remember it being pretty heavy too.

al those holes you didnt use,,,they are to keep it bolted together in case of a clutch blowing apart,,thats the difference between a bell housing and a scatter shield,,,

the lake wood was not designed to fit an early A,, there are problems with Z bar fitment,, i ran one years ago,, and had to alter and make Z bar brackets,, not saying it cant be done,,,

i use a ANSEN scatter shield,, they were made back in the cay for N H R A & A H R A and made to fit the early A,,, but very hard to find thses days ,,most people that have them dont know what they have,,,

the quick time looks like it would fit with out problems,, i have the first QUICK TIME small block scatter shield new in a box, with the starter cone,,,betwen life and work,,i dont think ill ever get to a 5 speed,,the tremec requires to much hacking of the early A,, and the Mc loUD trany will probably never come to life,,, so im considering selling the QUICK TIME
