1964 Dart

Good Evening All:thebirdm:
New to the forum. My A body is a humble 1964 Dodge Dart 4 door sedan with the indestructable 225/6.
Factory equipment included push button tranny, AM radio/backup lights/ heater and cigar lighter.
I bought it used in 1990 with only 23K on the clock for my daily trasnportation. It served me well and has traveled all over the eastern US. ( I was in the Army Guard at the time).
About 10 years ago I semi retired it with about 70K. Had it re-upholstered, (still original red) and started with the up grades. It now sports an Offenhouser 2 X 1 bbl/ A/C / 14 " small bolt rallies/ 8 3/4 open with 3:23 gears. AM/FM in the original radio chassis/ rear window defrost/ electric trunk release/ Electronic ignition and had the original valve cover and air cleaner housing chromed ( I picked up another air cleaner and had it chromed for the second carb. All the exterior belt line trim and badging have been removed. It has had one re-paint in 1998, original color (white)
The carbs are Holley model 1920's with glass float bowls.
The Dart may not be the fastest but it is fun to drive and gets it fair share of attention at car shows.
The other cars in the stable are a 1968 Dodge Superbee Stroked 383 with a six pack 4 speed. A 1971 Dodge Superbee 383 column auto. A 1988 Dodge Omni (daily driver) 2.2 5 speed and a 2006 Chrysler T&C.
