Fall Fling Roll Call!!!

-
Not sure if I will have my Dart running by tonight or not. If I get it up and running am I still able to pay at the gate to get my car in so I can park with the crew?

-Mark

Absolutely you can pay at the gate.

Plenty of people pay at the gate. Over half do that.

i can't believe the weather report says rain just on saturday. this is awful. hopefully there wrong! i'll still be there!

Just checked with the national weather service and it states 90% chance of precipitation from 7 am to 4 pm. I am going to skip it. I dont want to drive 90 miles and get up at 5am to go sit in the mud and then get rained on as well as my stuff. Unbelievable sh&tty weather.

20% chance of rain in San Diego,I am going to skip fall fling and go bracket race at Barona.Guzzi Mark

I am planning to be there. I am looking forward to catching up. Unfortunately, the Dart is not quite ready to go. I will be in the parts hauler.

Thanks,
OldMoparsRule!

There's a guy Mark in Dana Point that's bringing a bunch of small block race stuff. Just sold some sb aluminum indybrock? 2.05 vavles and rockers here a week ago or so.

Just got home from Fall Fling. The early morning weather obviously scared off some cars and swappers as the turnout sure seemed lighter than past years. But still a great show. Enjoyed myself as always. The weather was great after the early morning rain.
Had a great conversation with a Mopar family from Australia who are here on 'holiday' and found a listing for the show online.
Keep up the great work Steve - looking forward to Spring Fling already!

I also just got back from the fling. This morning at 5:30, it was raining like crazy coming from Pasadena, but it cleared up nicely by the time I arrived at Woodley.

I ended up hanging out with Dart65 his Dad and Dart64GT for a while. We found BurntOrange70's Dart, but missed the 11:00 meet up time.

I came home with a 64 V8 Pedal, bracket and throttle cable. I also came home with a 4speed hump, pedals and brackets for my 64.

Thanks again to everyone who helped to put this event together. It was awesome as always.

Thanks,
OldMoparsRule!

Well I did'nt sell the wagon but came home with a ribbon and did not know that I won was oout with oldmoparrules in the swap meet most of the day. Was parked next to burntorange. Nice day after all. Nice talking to you Clint

Day turned out real nice and the turn out wasn't bad either. I scored some small bolt pattern big and little steel wheels like new. Also ordered some door panels for the 68 Dart. Had a great time talking Mopars with other during the day.

If you stayed home you missed out!

I remember those. I think it was the guy selling the pitted TTI A-body small block headers for $285 marked?

Was that the guy that had all the 4 speed humps and pedal setups. He had LOTS of 63-66 manual trans parts.

Considering how the morning started, it was a great show.
Scored me a carpet for my Roadrunner, too.
Walked around for a hour mumbling about wether I wanted to cut loose with the coin or not. (Ask my gal, drove her nuts and she laughed the whole time).

I made it! I had alotta fun! Nice weather!! I bought FBO ignition, a bypass hose for smallblock, and a breather! lol...Nice to finally meet you autoX!!!!! awesome oil pan, I want one!!!!!

Oh, and I'm hella tired! 4 hour drive each way going 80mph!

No, I did talk to him, but I ended up buying my set up from some guys towards the back of the swap meet area.

Now to decide between the pushbutton 727 I have, and a 4 speed...;-)

Thanks,
OldMoparsRule!
