Someone posted about cutting 2.5 inch hole in bottom of scattershield, was it you?

I read this in a previous post somewhere (can't find it). Would it possibly help to keep throwout fork/throwout bearing in place while installing trans into scattershield. The scattershield is an old formed steel ansen so it probably doesn't meet current std's anyway. We installed the tranny with engine last time but it was a pain in the tokus! (4 people).
