Not true. Lots of slant 6 and 318 a-bodies of 73 and up had 7.25 rears.

Looks like the cherokee rear discs went on a heck of a lot simpler than those disc brakes in that other thread. I forget what that donor was.
I want 4 wheel discs that show through at least 16 inch wheels. I dont mind moving the forward spring mount back an inch or so to center the rear wheel well but I do not want to relocate the springs inboard and can't minitub a convertible.
