ok, dougs headers are 429.00 in the natural. i guess that is they naturally rust.lol. but there ceramic coated one are 590.00.

does it really pay to spend 200 more on them? or has anyone used the natural steel ones? how you like them

I had their nickle chrome ones on my '65 360 Valiant. They did discolor, but I was happy with them. The chrome stayed on and it's still on now. The guy I sold it to still has it with them on it. They have not discolored anymore than they were when I had it. I sold it about 13 years ago. Easiest headers I ever installed. I strongly recommend using RED high temp permatex on the slip fit tubes, or you will have to remove them with a sawzall.

I have had the chrome finish,I like the ceramic finish much better,I'm in florida and the chrome just did not hold up,I quess the engine heat was the factor that caused the chrome to break down?,mine were not Dougs header though, they were TTi's,I had to send them to Jet Hot and get their Sterlig finish which is really nice!!!
Just my 2cents-----

I have the ceramic coating and it is well worth it. Dougs has the best coating that I have seen, much prettier than tti's, and it is durable. No issues at all.

wow, 60 less than summit............thank you

ok, so i just ordered a set from the company above, and they are alot cheaper, so i got them in the ceramic coated
