drug poll cuz the other thread wont work..

Let me preface my reply and opinion by stating the following :

I've long had lower back problems ( spinal , primarily ) as well as muscle and nerve issues , and being involved in 3 car wrecks ( none of which were my fault ) has only compounded these problems ; the last wreck was 4 years ago ( I was sitting pass-side in my dad's car when the accelerator stuck-open ; hit a light pole at 50 mph ... on the side I was sitting on ! ) .

I used to go to " second-party pharmacists " in order to get Norco , Vicodin , Lortab , Percodan , Percocet , et al. , as I didn't have health insurance .
Finally , just over 1 year ago , I started seeing a Pain Management Specialist .
He wrote a prescription for 90 ( thirty-day supply ) Norco ; at last , a legal , legitimate prescription !

I piggy back my still-three-a-day-dosage with various N.S.A.I.D.S. ( Aspirin , et al. ) , as those help with the swelling .
Tylenol is 100% worthless to me ( in-so-far-as it doesn't do **** for swelling ) ; however , getting a prescription for straight-up opiates / opioids is a 'pain' , as those are Schedule II , and require a 'Triplicate Prescription '.

My back is so horribly tweaked ; pinched nerves , spine that's curved in and to the right side ( poor posture is a big part of this ) , potentially herniated discs in my neck and back , and so on .

My doctor wanted to put me on "Limited Work Duties" , to which I declined .
I work in a warehouse ( auto parts ) as well as deliveries . Combined with a skeleton crew , the workload doesn't truly permit for any real restrictions ; henceforth , my decision to decline to work limitations orders .

Nevertheless , in my opinion , Opiates work great .
Certainly , like everything , they have their downsides .

Marijuana ?
I wish I could partake . However , it gives me panic attacks and anxiety , regardless of its strain .
If it weren't for those damned attacks , I'd certainly like to use it .

Keep in mind :
Marijuana is still a Schedule I federally .
Laws that states' voters pass don't mean **** if you're stopped by Border Patrol , et al ., as those are federal agents .

California's voters ( ostensibly not the same idiots whom voted Brown back in office !! ) obviously didn't want for legalised marijuana ; and that's a disservice in my mind .
Even though I can't enjoy marijuana , I still recognise its medical benefits .

I only wish that things such as codeine cough syrup and low-dose codeine analgesics ( 10mg or less ) were available without a prescription !!
Dextromethorphan is JUNK . It's fully-synthetic codeine , and is 100% worthless .

So , yeah ... opiates get my vote , as does 'medical' marijuana .:-D
