Hello gentlemen, Ive been reading the posts for about two weeks now ever since I picked up my 72 swinger. Ive always been a Ford guy but Ive always loved the Dart Swingers. I came across a deal I couldn't pass up (daily driver, 318, almost perfect interior, for 1600.00 :-D ) and I cant stop logging on to see what every one here has done to their cars. Well, I know Im gonna need some help tracking down a few things and all the advice is going to be appreciated so, just wanted to say hi and thanks in advance.

Welcome and glad to have you. Now quit lurking and post up some pics....:-D

Welcome to FABO from an OC neighbor! You're going to have fun here. Great people and the best Mopar tech advice anywhere.
Oh yeah, and welcome to Mopars - glad to have another convert from the 'Dark Side'!
Sending PM.

Welcome aboard! And yes, please post pics!!

I will post some pics as soon as im done with class. But I need something in return. Like I mentioned before I used to work on older fords mainly mustangs, I knew what parts were interchangeable with each other but since Im new to mopars I couldnt tell you what parts are interchangeable between the years. IE 65 mustangs are interchangeable with most parts through 67, what can i pry off that will fit my 72 swinger.

pics are coming guys

Welcome from just out side Temecula. Parts interchange on the Mopar A body is realy good. What are you looking for?

well i was looking for parts in general, I know i need new door panels, and a trunk floor pan, and a drivers side door skin. But i have found it difficult to track down parts so far. Thats why i wondering what years are interchangeable to others to maybe broden the search.

welcome! this is a stupid topic unless we see your DART :) :) :) :) you will love this site

:hello2:welcome:hello2: Body parts like floors & suspension & drive train is almost the same for all A-bodies '67-'76 with very minor changes. Most drive train/suspension parts are even the same as the early '64-'66 A-bodies. This makes for easy mods and restoration/repair:cheers:

P.S.:worthles:

would love to post pics, still trying to figure it out... as soon as i do ill out them on....any help

Jon, post up the numbers here. Any number of FABO members can decode it for you.
There's also a Mopar VIN Decoder at the top of each page you can use to decode your VIN.
