Ss springs and pinion angle

The problem with pinion angle is it changes under load (at launch, when it's most critical) depending on your power level and suspension setup - either a little or alot. A stout enough rear, 4-link or mayde Caltracs will give very little pinion climb, so your static pinion angle can be less. More power with less axle control means you need more pinion angle to compensate. That also translates into greater u-joint stress (shorter life) in normal driving.
