I grew up with A body cars, until for years I had Corvettes and a 70 LS5 Chevelle. After I sold the car back in 2003, I sat around for 3 or so years listening to the wife grind on me for not having a project or hobby. I didnt want another GM and thought about going back to my Mopar roots.

Western Ky, is not a stronghold for Mopars and yet I wanted something that sat out in a crowd. The wife and I enjoy going to shows, so I began my quest for an E or A body car. I found a 70 RT/SE Challenger car so I bought it. I am currently restoring this car, but I have always kept a place inside me for the A body. When I turned 16, I convinced my mother to go down to the local Mopar dealer and we bought a new 74 Duster 360, it was Yellow. My future father in law helped me make a hot rod out of it.

Well fast forward, and after spending 4 years on other Mopar sites, its nice to spend time here. I love looking at the classified, pics, some of the tech articles etc. I might even pick up an A body in the coming year.

Welcome!

Hey Kevin, it's great to have you here! I'm probably one of your closest FABO members to the southwest -- and you're right, there's no Mopars around here -- so we'll have to pal up. :-D Make yourself at home and enjoy!!

Welcome aboard Kevin  as you can see this is by far the best site going for tec advise and enjoying MoPar folks :-D Pull up a chair and have a blast with us.:happy10:

Welcome to FABO! You're going to have fun here.
Actually, I think Gnome should have said, "Welcome from the dark side..."
Glad you're back to your Mopar roots. I returned back to my Mopar roots several years ago. We may be fewer in number, but we're both prouder and more loyal.

Another converted back to his roots. Welcome aboard and Congrats on the understanding wife and the little one.

Welcome to the site. You've had some really cool cars. Glad you came back to your Mopar roots. Post some pics of that Challenger. I know we'd all love to see it.

I don't know if I'd call us "refreshing" but hey to each his own, Welcome anyway. A word of caution, it's getting that time of the year when we up here in the frozen North get bitchy and mean, especially Winterpegers, so I'll apologize for all of us early.8):-D

It was minus 30 here last week and sucking winter ain't even officially started yet.:bootysha:

I remember those Winter days when you were so tired of dealing with snow and ice, and had no patience for much of anything. Nice to be out of the Rust Belt.

Welcome!! We don't wanna know where you came from, the only thing that matters is that you found the BEST damn Mopar site on the web...period.
