440 head numbers

Hey, I'll add my two cents here. And I'm getting to like batting the ball back and forth between you and I. On flow numbers I agree with you, they are all about the same. That said if your looking to up Compression, Most BB have Pistons down in the hole @TDC anywhere from .040 to .090. The 915 is the easiest and cheapest way to up the Static numbers.

That's right on. Also, if you are aware of it, BESIDES the Max Wedge stuff, the '67 big exhaust valve 915 was actually the only real hipo head for the fat motor. Folks think that the 906 is a high performance head and it ain't. It just happened to be used on the Road Runner. All the rest of that motor is what made it high performance....you know....the THREE carbs? LOL the 906 was used on everything from 440 six packs to 383 2 barrel motors. ..and I'm not sayin they suck. Just that there's really nuthin special about um.
