Cool article, thanks for sharing. Wish those intakes were still readily available at '60's pricing. Got a kick out of those Hedman headers. Look real "high tech".
Headers were terribly expensive back in those days, as there weren't any of the cheapos out there. I wanted a set of Dougs in the mid 60s, but it was a pipe dream.
I ended up making a set that looked a lot cruder than the ones in the picture. :D They looked more like zoomies that came together, with sheet metal wrapped around them as a collector. :toothy10:
