beaters what options do us mopar lovers have?

As stated before, 95 to 99 neon. Hands down. Cheap to buy and repair, and get great gas mileage. I would do that waaaaaaay before I bought a k car.

What's wrong with a K car? I had a 1988 Dodge Aries that I paid $700 for with 49K, drove it for a few years, when I was done it had about 300K on it, and still ran strong. I took that thing off jumps, drove it through mud bogs, beat it up hard, and it still started up for me every day, and got me to where I needed to go, with no problems. The only thing that went was part of the wiring harness in the engine bay melted once, but that was a cheap fix. Just pulled one from a junkyard.
I ran that thing damn near dry of oil a couple times, forgot to check the tranny fluid a couple times, and again, never let me down.
I then sold that car for $900. Pretty good, I'd say.
