repost from exhaust: TTI636vsDougsD450

!) Best and easiest intall?
2) Source for best price?
3) what to do about the cyl. end studs (2 wet holes) can you keep studs?

4) recomendations?
5) how do they compare? als0; compare to spitfires? Harold still owes me a set, its been 2.5 years....no headers. he kept my money.

1) Can't comment on the TTI but don't consider the Dougs to be a very difficult install. The torsion bars, steering column, & center link should be removed. I had my engine & K-member out when I did mine & it was super easy.
2) Don't know best price, I called Doug's & they gave me a recommended vendor, can't remember who (wasn't Summit), saved a couple hundred $.
3) You can use studs on the ends (I did), of course use thread sealent.
4) The Doug's fit nice with the limited space available. Overall very nice headers & no body butchering required. In a couple of places they are close to stuff so you may want to add some header wrap in those areas. Standard mini & stock starters will fit. Supposedly a special starter is required with the TTIs.
5) They are definitely an upgrade from the Spitfires but the TTI's may flow a little bit more. Howard is a thief. He stole my $ 5 years ago, received nothing but excuses.
